无论是对知识产权的保护还是对音乐事业的发展本身,2000年的10月18日都是一个有意义的日子。由中国音乐家协会、国际音乐家联合会(FIM)联合主办,联合国教科文组织国际音理会、中国音乐著作权协会、中国音像协会、日本艺能表演家团体协会、日本表演家权利管理中心等组织协办的“音乐权益保障国际研讨会”实质上预示了一种开端,一种对音乐权益的尊重,一种对理性与法律进入到有效的,可操作层面的音乐权益保障的尝试。

Organized by the Chinese Musicians Association, the International Federation of Musicians (FIM), the UNESCO International Phonological Association, the China Music Copyright Association, the China Audiovisual Association, the Japan Arts Entertainer Association, the Japan Performers Rights Management Center and others The co-sponsored “International Symposium on Safeguarding the Rights and Interests of Music” has in essence foreshadowed a beginning, a respect for the rights and interests of music, and an attempt to ensure that rationality and law entered into an effective and operational protection of the rights and interests of music.
