In October 2009, the “C-Zha-Za” highway, known as the eighth highway to Tibet in China, opened to traffic. However, the road continued to extend forward. At the intersection of Ranwuzhen and Sichuan-Tibet Highway in Bazu County, a new route into the Tibet Autonomous Region and the new Yunnan-Tibet Boulevard of Tibet were formed.
