快速阅读 fast reading 或称速度阅读“speeding reading”越来越受到人们的重视。这种阅读方法旨在培养人们用眼扫视的能力,逐步摆脱字阅读或默读的习惯,尽量提高阅读速度。我们的学生一年级时没有阅读课,而期末考试时,教精读课的教师一般在自己的试卷中都有阅读理解的内容。系里要求要在精读课上增加阅读内容。近两年我们选用的是大学英语快速阅读的教材,但在处理教材时,可以说基本上没有按照快速阅读的规则去做。比如说,我在让学生做快速阅读练习时,虽然不让他们查字典,但给学生的时间较宽裕,使学生能够较从容地做完练习。还有的老师觉得在课上做这种练习太浪费时间,就发下去让学生回家去做,这样学生在缺少必要训练的情况下,做练习时难免要查字典,而且时间也保证不了。总之,以前我们对快速阅读的处理,基本上
