国际拱坝理論学术討論会于1964年4月20～23日在英国騷散普敦大学召开.到会代表134人,論文共22篇(其中有关拱坝結构力学方法分析方面8篇、拱坝弹性理論与壳体理論分析方法方面13篇及壳体理論方面1篇).
The International Symposium on Arch Dam Theory was held at the University of Cape Town in the United Kingdom on April 20-23, 1964. There were 134 participants and 22 papers (including 8 on structural mechanics of arch dam, arch dam Elasticity Theory and Shell Theoretical Analysis Methods 13 and Shell Theory 1).
