老年人缺乏维生素B_(12)会导致神经功能的损伤、精神抑郁、睡眠质量不好、记忆力下降等。美国科学家对1000多名65岁以上老年人进行了为期10年的跟踪调查,结果显示,血液中维生素B_(12)含量较高的老人,认知能力要好于缺乏这种维生素的同龄人。生活中,老年人的睡眠质量普遍不高。研究发现,给慢性失眠患者补充维生素B_(12)数天后,多数人的睡眠情况都获得改善,一旦停止服用,失眠的问题又发生了。
The lack of vitamin B_ (12) in the elderly can result in impairment of neurological function, depression, poor quality of sleep and loss of memory. US scientists conducted a 10-year follow-up survey of more than 1,000 elderly people over the age of 65. The results showed that older adults with higher levels of vitamin B 12 in the blood had better cognitive abilities than their peers without such vitamins. In life, the quality of the elderly’s sleep is generally not high. The study found that chronic insomnia in patients with vitamin B_ (12) a few days after the majority of people have improved sleep, once stopped, the problem of insomnia occurred.
