那是我从教的第一年。新学期开学第一天,我对孩子们说:“每个学生在我眼里都是一样的。”可是很快我就发现自己对孩子们撒了谎。教室最后一排坐着一个叫叶子的小男孩,他非常贪玩,又有些懒惰,学习成绩也很差,最要命的是他上课经常讲话。开学才一个月,就已经有家长向我提出,希望让自己的孩子离叶子远一点。我甚至在教室的垃圾桶里发现了一些叶子丢掉的试卷和讲义。我想,教这个孩子真是件既困难又让人失望的事。
That is the first year I taught. On the first day of the new semester, I said to the children: “Every student is the same in my eyes.” But soon I found myself lying to the children. In the last row of the classroom, sitting on a boy called a leaf, he was very playful, somewhat lazy, and had poor academic performance. The most terrible thing was that he often spoke in class. Only a month after the start of school, parents have already proposed to me, hoping to make their children a little further away from the leaves. I even found papers and handouts left in the trash can of the classroom. I think it is both difficult and disappointing to teach this child.
