Since the concept of audience rating has been introduced by Chinese TV people since the mid-1980s, the level of audience rating has never been as concerned and valued as today. In the era of television remote control, in the face of fierce competition among media and channels, the evaluation criteria for daily programs of over 80% of television stations in the country mainly depend on the audience rating indicators. The audience rating refers to the ratio of the number of people watching a certain TV program to the total number of viewers in a particular period of time.
