In 1951, Allen discovered anti-Jka in one case of hemolytic disease of the newborn, and discovered its anti-Jkb antibody in 1953. He later discovered that it was an independent blood group system and was named the Kidd system. There are research literatures on the serological typing of Kidd system in China. Up to now, there has been no report on PCR typing. The author analyzes the Kidd blood of Han Chinese in Guangzhou from the genetic level
