彩笔凌云画溢思,虚心劲节是吾师。人生贵有胸中竹,经得艰难考验时。这一首绝句,是叶剑英同志于一九六三年亲笔题赠岳美缇的岁月匆匆,弹指间已过了二十个春秋,岳美缇这位著名的昆剧女小生,在历尽十年劫难后,重又挥舞起昆剧艺术的丹青妙笔,在舞台上描绘出一个个色彩斑烂的戏剧人物形象。不久前,她随上海昆剧团赴京,与著名演员华文漪合演经过整理改编的《牡丹亭》,扮演了男主角柳梦梅。她那细腻的表演和艺术上的进取与革新精神,恰似翠竹青青,拔节而长,使古老的昆剧小生艺术焕发出青春的气息。
