随着经济全球化的出现和中国加入ＷＴＯ，继续教育对石油石化企业发展的重要作用和意义越来越大，但在目前形势下，石油石化企业继续教育仍然存在着不少问题，发展继续教育的任务非常艰巨。必须提高认识、转变观念；合理规划、协调发展；重视高层次人才的职业生涯管理；建立与现代企业制度和市场经济相适应的企业继续教育机制；采用多种方式方法开展继续教育，才能进一步加强和发展石油石化企业继续教育。
