目前教育工作最大的问题,与其说是育才的问题不如说是一个育人的问题。“才”是培养人才,“人”是培养一个真正的完善的人。我们现在不少学校还在用所谓“三中心”的办法:教师为中心、课本为中心、课堂为中心,实行一种填鸭式的知识教育,而缺乏能力的教育。听说国外许多教育家关心和讨论的问题是;如何把培养智能型的人物改变为培养有创造力和开拓性的人物,已经形成一种趋势。我们现在连智能型人才的培养还没有完成,更不要提创造型、开拓型人才培养的更高要求的目标了。改革从什么地方出发?我认为最根本的是:从改变我们的教育思想、教育观念
At present, the biggest issue of education is not so much a matter of educating students as it is of educating students. “Talent” is to cultivate talents, “people” is to cultivate a real perfect person. Many schools in our time still use the so-called “three-center” approach: teachers are the center, textbooks are the center, and the classroom is the center.
