长江中下游中三迭统层控铁矿床,是指定位于中三迭统周冲村组及其之上黄马青组下部层位中的似层状铁矿床.多年来,此类铁矿床被众多学者视为典型的气化-热液接触交代型矿床.近几年来,在徐克勤、胡受奚教授指导下,经笔者研究的结果表明,它们乃是中三迭世富铁层经后期热液改造叠加的产物,并将其归属为层状-层控型铁矿床之列. 关于此类铁矿床层状-层控的特性,笔者已有拙作予以论证,本文不再赘言.在此仅探讨在本类铁矿热液叠加过程中所伴随的碳酸盐化蚀变的特征和铁的活化转移机制.笔者得出的初
