本文以20世纪美国前一百著名演讲为数据库,以Antconc3.2.0w(windows)2006为收集、分析数据的工具,搜索出使用频率前五的实义名词。分别为people(排名第32位,使用次数达到1208);world(排名50位,使用次数为701);man(排名57位,使用次数为656);war(排名75位,使用次数为505);time(排名76位,使用次数为501)。这些词的使用并不是随意无规律的,从其使用频率及使用者可以窥探出当时的美国处于何种社会文化环境中。这也正是语言对社会折射作用的体现之处。
In this paper, the 20th century, the United States a hundred famous lecture for the database to Antconc3.2.0w (windows) 2006 as a tool to collect and analyze data, to find out the meaning of the first five terms of use frequency. (Ranked No. 50, the number of uses is 701); man (rank 57, the number of uses is 656); war (rank 75, the number of uses is 505) ; time (ranked 76, using the number of 501). The use of these words is not arbitrary and irregular, from the frequency of use and the user can peek out what kind of social and cultural environment the United States was in. This is precisely why language reflects the role of society.
