Danny Bowman was very eager to catch the attention of girls in school. He took 10 hours a day to photograph 200 self-portraits and tried to make the perfect picture. However, the Selfie addiction that he developed from the age of 15 eventually led to his abandoning his studies and losing nearly 2 miles (about 12.70 kg) of his weight. He did not go home for a full six months because he was unable to produce flawless photos and he even overdosed himself to suicide. His mother, Penny, managed to rescue him, but after Danny’s addiction was completely out of control, he had to seek expert help. The 19-year-old, considered the UK’s first Selfie addiction, is now tackling her technology-dependent illness. He has not photographed himself for seven months
