《城市旅人》是林一峰加盟大公司后的第一张唱片,却没有向主流靠拢的意思。喜欢旅行、喜欢在旅行中写歌唱歌的林一峰,虽然封套上他立足在漫野的蒿草中,其实在唱片里只是记述了在家乡香港这座繁华都市里的游历:“于我,旅行的意义就是让思想自由,用新的角度看旧的景物,最终在回到本土时如同到了异国。”在土生土长的地方找到新的感触,就是《城市旅人》。
