硫是铁矿中的有害元素。峨口铁矿中硫主要以磁黄铁矿和黄铁矿两种形式存在。本区硫化物有三个形成期次。第一期为变质作用形成的星点状硫化物;第二期为变质后热液阶段形成的脉状硫化物;第三期为后期热液阶段形成的裂隙充填式硫化物。硫同位素研究表明,虽然硫化物主要有三个期次,但硫的来源是一致的,均来源于基性-超基性火山岩,经原岩恢复为深海相拉斑玄武岩。矿石及近矿围岩中硫化物的硫均来自于矿段本身。
Sulfur is a harmful element in iron ore. The sulfur in Ekou iron ore is mainly in the form of pyrrhotite and pyrite. There are three formation of sulfur sulfide in this area. The first phase is a star-shaped sulfide formed by the metamorphism. The second phase is a vein-like sulfide formed during the metamorphic hydrothermal stage. The third stage is a fractured-filled sulfide formed at the late hydrothermal stage. Sulfur isotope studies have shown that, although the sulfide mainly three periods, but the source of sulfur are the same, are derived from the basic - ultrabasic volcanic rocks, the original rock recovery to deep-sea tholeigenic basalt. Sulfur in the ore and its surrounding rocks are derived from the ore section itself.
