希腊、意大利、葡萄牙、西班牙,这些国家和地区都曾有过光辉灿烂的历史和文化,却在近现代失势和颓败,直至深陷欧债危机泥淖不可自拔。悠久的历史、灿烂的文化和迷人的风光,也许只是我们对欧洲一厢情愿的想象,摄影师试图打破人们对这些南欧国家的刻板印象,通过影像视觉呈现出它们在欧债危机后的另一面。这些在城市旅游手册中绝对看不见的景象正是欧洲常常被世人忽略的一面,这些图像缺乏光彩,没有吸引力,让人失望和沮丧,但却真实和引人深思。
Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, these countries and regions have had glorious history and culture, but lost in the modern times and decadent, until the debt trap deep in the mud of Europe unable to extricate themselves. Long history, splendid culture and charming scenery may only be our wishful thinking about Europe. Photographers try to break the stereotypes of these southern European countries and present them the other side of the European debt crisis through visual images. These invisible visions in the city’s tourist brochures are what Europe is often neglected by the world. The images are not brilliant, unappealing, disappointing and frustrating, but they are real and thought-provoking.
