农村小学要不要实行五、六年级复式？实行了能不能保证质量？我们认为答案应该是肯定的。近年来我省许多地方国家办的农村全日制小学由于布局不够合理和其他原因，许多贫、下中农子女得不到入学机会，高年级班的学额一般都很不足，实行单式教学，不免浪费很大人力。因此，在许多农村小学里实行高年级复式教学是完全必要的。至于教学质量问题，我们认为关键不在于单式还是复式，而是在于农村小学教师是否真正站在无产阶级立场，全心全意为广大贫农
