本论文以20世纪60年代到70年代的古巴移民为例,以霍米·巴巴的文化杂糅理论为理论基础,探讨文化杂糅理论对于美国的适用性问题。总的来说,古巴移民融入美国社会的过程可以说是文化杂糅理论能够适用美国的典型例子。
This paper takes Cuban immigrants from 1960s to 1970s as an example and Homily Baba’s theory of cultural hybridity as the theoretical basis to discuss the applicability of cultural hybrid theory to the United States. On the whole, the process of integrating Cuban immigrants into American society can be described as a typical case where the theory of cultural hybridization can apply to the United States.
