知识分子问题是审视文化研究转型的一个重要契入点。葛兰西知识分子观能帮助文化研究摆脱立场抉择的困境,一个重要原因在于,他的知识分子观立足于马克思主义人学思想。他的知识分子观,有力批判了文化研究领域中长期占统治地位的精英主义立场。在葛兰西的启发下,文化研究者意识到了用政治术语来看待知识分子的重要性,进而提出了“抵抗的知识分子”的概念。但葛兰西的“有机知识分子”与文化研究派的“抵抗的知识分子”观存在实质差别。
The problem of intellectuals is an important demarcation point for examining the transformation of cultural studies. Gramsci’s concept of intellectuals can help cultural studies to get rid of the predicament of position choice. One important reason is that his view of intellectuals is based on the Marxist theory of human studies. His view of intellectuals has strongly criticized the long-held elitist position in the field of cultural studies. Inspired by Gramsci, cultural researchers realized the importance of treating intellectuals in political terms, and led to the concept of “resistant intellectuals.” However, there is a substantial difference between Gramsci’s “organic intellectuals” and cultural researchists “resistant intellectuals”.
