汤岗子位于鞍山市南端,总面积25平方公里,人口1.8万,下辖7个行政村、6个街道居民委员会,于1992年8月被鞍山市千山区人民政府批准为高新技术开发区。 汤岗子北距鞍山市中心10公里,西北5公里处即是中国联行鞍山机场,班机直达北京、广州、佛山,朝发夕至。沈大铁路、哈大公路穿境而过,客货运输通达全国;市内13、14路公共汽车直通境内,小客、出租车招手即站;乡镇公路均系柏油化,四通八达。程控电话直拨国内外。
Tanggangzi is located in the southern tip of Anshan City, with a total area of 25 square kilometers and a population of 18,000. It has 7 administrative villages and 6 neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction. It was approved as Anshan High-tech Development Zone by Anshan Qianshan District People’s Government in August 1992. Tanggangzi Anshan city center is 10 kilometers northwest, 5 kilometers northwest of China’s Anshan airport, the flight directly to Beijing, Guangzhou, Foshan, North Korea towards the evening. Shenyang-Dalian Railway and Harbin-Dalian Highway run through the country, with passenger and cargo transportation accessible throughout the country. Busways 13 and 14 in the city pass through the territory directly and bring passengers to and from their cabs and taxi stands. Towns and townships roads are all asphalt and extend in all directions.
