文章通过对国内外的交通信息服务现状、出行信息、现有基础条件等方面的分析,提出了交通信息资源的应用方向,并认为要充分的利用现有交通信息,整合收费、监控、通信、路面、桥梁管理、路政管理和紧急事件管理等方方面面的交通信息资源,打破其各自为政的局面,进行集成,将会为各级管理部门直接提供大量的基础数据。同时,经过一定的数据加工、处理,建立交通信息动态发布平台,实现道路通行优化控制与管理、道路交通状况实时监控、交通信息综合采集、统一处理与集中发布、交通应急预案处理和指挥调度、交通发展研究与辅助决策支持等功能,为公众提供全方位、多层次的交通出行信息,真正让公众切身感受交通信息服务的便利。
