鸦片战争后,西方传教士在中国创办报刊、翻译和出版书籍等,向中国公众介绍了西方近代科技知识,一些表达新概念的外来词也随之传播开来。近代汉语词汇史也是近代中西方文化交流史的一个缩影。从语言学、译介学的角度,挖掘分析近代早期中文报刊外来词所反映的西方科技经济等知识对中国文化的影响和对近代汉语的贡献。
After the Opium War, Western missionaries founded newspapers, translated and published books in China, introduced the Western modern science and technology knowledge to the Chinese public, and some foreign words that expressed new concepts also spread. Modern Chinese vocabulary history is also a microcosm of the history of Sino-Western cultural exchanges in modern times. From the perspectives of linguistics and translation, this paper analyzes and analyzes the influence of Western science and technology and economy on the Chinese culture and the contribution to modern Chinese reflected by the foreign words in the early Chinese newspapers and periodicals.
