The Pacific Islands are mainly distributed in the South Pacific and the Central Pacific. These islands were discovered one after another in the 15th century. Until now, geographers still can not determine the total number of these islands, only estimated at 20,000 to 30,000. Some of these islands have an area of some thousands of square kilometers, but some are like sea solitary rocks and small whale-backed ones. The development of the islands is also different. There are also highly modernized areas such as the Hawaiian Islands and New Caledonia An area like Niah that still retains an extremely primitive way of life. The geographic landscape of each island and the climate conditions are different according to their location. The humanities and customs on the island also show thousands of customs due to different ethnic groups and customs.
