落羽杉与池杉同属,二者为近缘种,但前者比后者有更多的优点,即生长较为迅速;在土壤PH值高的立地上幼令期黄化现象较轻。因此近几年来比池杉更为人们所重视。但因种源比池杉更为不足,致目前还不能大量引入生长。为从质和量两方面提高落羽杉种子供应,我们开展了本种的优树选择和遗传鉴定工作。在现行的林木选种程序中,通用的优树选择属当代一次选择,即不考虑候选树的实际遗传性,仅依据个体的表型值,与对比木加以比较,决定取舍,所以又称为表型选
