我国版画进入10年代末期以来,大家习惯称为“转型期”,也称“新时期”。对于转型期版画的深层涵义,我几经思考,逐渐有些体悟,作为问题提出来,希望引向深入讨论。 一、转型期版画的使命 7O年代末的中国,开始了社会主义建设的新时期,文化建设也进入了新的时期。因此,新时期版画的使命,也应该随着文化使命而转型。具体说,版画的文化使命应包含两个方面:大力提高版画本体的文化素质,努力创作反映时代精神的作品。
