思想政治工作是我们党的优良传统,是调动广大群众的积极性、创造性,战胜各种困难的重要手段。但是,近几年来由于赵紫阳同志“淡化”党的领导,忽视和削弱了思想政治工作,使党的事业受到了一定的损失。党的十三届四中全会以后,重申加强党的建设和思想政治工作及其队伍的建设,使我们党的这一优良传统又得到了恢复,受到人民群众的热烈拥护。然而,在改革开放的形势下,怎样才能做好思想政治工作确是值得研究的问题。本人在实际工作中体会到,应解决好思想政治工作者的认识问
Ideological and political work is our party’s fine tradition and an important means of mobilizing the broad masses of the people with enthusiasm, creativity and victory over all kinds of difficulties. However, in recent years, Comrade Zhao Ziyang has “played down” the party’s leadership, neglected and weakened the ideological and political work, and has suffered some losses to the party’s cause.
