自1981年12月在武汉召开的中日不织布技术交流会议后,在全国十个试点对从日本引进的新型覆盖材料——长纤维不织布(丰收布)进行了性能试验。并于1983年6月24~26日在哈尔滨市召开了全国第一次“不织布”试验经验交流会。根据各试点试验结果认为:(1)采用从日本引进的长纤维不织布做温室或大棚的二层幕,具有一定的保温性能,可以提高室(棚)内的气温和地温。据湖北省农科院测定,温室内幕挂“不织布”的温度要比无复盖物的温度提高2~6℃。中国农业工程研究设计院等四单位用“不织布”做大棚内的二道幕,棚内温度比对照棚提高1~3℃。5厘米土温最高增值达3.5℃。
