Cultivating and Promoting “Wuhan Spirit” is an inherent requirement of accelerating the development of Wuhan and taking the lead in realizing the goal of well-off society. However, what is the trait of “Wuhan spirit” and how is its formation related to the contemporary folk customs of Wuhan and the moral status of citizens? This is a major realistic problem in advancing the process of Wuhan’s modernization.
