According to the information provided by Zheng Yan Information Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, the situation of livestock husbandry facing the market is relatively harsh this year due to the rising price of corn and the relative surplus of livestock products supply. (1) The prices of feed raw materials have risen, and the production costs of livestock products have increased. About 70% of livestock production costs feed, a direct impact on livestock production. The maize production in 1997 had a more substantial yield cut than the bumper harvest in 1996, plus the profitability of pigs last year
