第二届官话方言国际学术研讨会于2000年11月28日至11月30日在重庆市举行。来自中国大陆、港澳地区和海外学者82人出席了本次会议。大会共收到论文63篇。本届研讨会由渝州大学、中国社会科学院语言研究所《方言》杂志编辑部、西南师范大学语言文献研究所联合主办。渝州大学语言研究所、《方言》杂志编辑部具体组织并主持了本届研讨会。 研讨会采用全体会议和分组会议两种形式,对官话方言的诸方面课题进行了广泛的交流
The Second Mandarin Dialect International Symposium was held in Chongqing from November 28 to November 30, 2000. 82 people from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas scholars attended the conference. The conference received a total of 63 papers. The symposium was co-sponsored by Yuzhou University, Editorial Department of Dialect Magazine, Institute of Language, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Institute of Language and Literature, Southwest China Normal University. Yuzhou University Institute of Language, “dialect” magazine editorial department specifically organized and presided over the seminar. The seminar adopted plenary sessions and breakout sessions in two forms and conducted extensive exchanges on various topics of dialect of Mandarin
