Mention Wang Zongxun, many people in the botany of our country are no strangers. As the earliest person to put forward phytochemical taxonomy in China, his contribution has been recognized. In 1980, he was one of the chief inventors of Strychni and won the third prize of national invention. In 1985, he edited the book “Catalog of Chinese Botany literature,” a book, won the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Progress Award. As a specialist in plant resources, botanical literature and botanical history of modern China, Wang Zongxun has published over 30 papers
