“十三五”时期是我国经济转型改革的深化年,也旅游业加快发展的黄金机遇期,中国旅游正从“景点旅游”向“全域旅游”转变,从门票经济向产业经济转变,这是引领“十三五”乃至更长时间我国旅游发展的总体战略,也将成为苏州园林旅游发展规划的重点取向。苏州虎丘景区围绕本地政府“努力打造苏州古城品牌”、“建成国际一流旅游目的地”的决策部署,以营销宣传和旅游服务的全面创新为驱动,在推动景区旅游转型升级和提质增效服务中进行创新,取得了一定实效。
