外滩景观的形成由来外滩是上海独特的滨江亲水景观,在这里可以放眼一览涛涛江水和片片帆影,呼吸带有水腥气的新鲜空气,并且能够欣赏黄浦江滨江大道上众多历史悠久风格各异的万国建筑。外滩所展示的别致的景观风貌,使之充满了魅力,因此有人将外滩称之为“上海的眼睛”。外滩景观的形成,从1843年上海开埠开始,经历了一个半世纪的历史发展。
