一项旨在引领全球人士欣赏香港特色建筑的“香港十大优秀建筑选举”于九月十八日公布投票结果,汇丰银行总部大厦、国际机场客运大楼及中国银行大厦名列前三名。 该项选举由香港电台、香港建筑师学会及香港经济日报社合办,候选名单由香港建筑师学会提供。获奖的十大建筑物按得票多少顺序为:1、汇丰银行总部大厦。2、国际机场客运大楼。3、中国银行大厦。4、会议展览中心扩展工程。5、志莲净苑。6、立法会大楼。7、旧火车站钟楼。8、礼宾府。9、新凌霄阁。10、半岛酒店旧翼与新翼。
An “Election of the Top Ten Buildings in Hong Kong”, which aims to lead the global community to appreciate Hong Kong’s distinctive buildings, announced the results of the poll on September 18. HSBC Headquarters Building, the International Airport Passenger Terminal Building and the Bank of China Building ranked among the top three. The election was jointly organised by Radio Television Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the Hong Kong Economic Times. The shortlist was provided by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. The order of winning tickets for the top ten award-winning buildings is: 1. HSBC headquarters building. 2. International Airport Passenger Terminal Building. 3. Bank of China Building. 4, the Convention and Exhibition Center expansion project. 5, Chi Lin Nunnery. 6. Legislative Council Building. 7, the old railway station clock tower. 8, Government House. 9, the new Ling Xiao Ge. 10. The Peninsula’s old wing and new wing.
