Calligraphy as an art, its connotation and style, the formation of features, and the creator’s thoughts, emotions, ethics, as well as cultural elements of the times have a deep relationship. The calligraphy of the Tang Dynasty reached a high artistic level and became one of the peak periods at its peak. At the same time, the Tang Dynasty was also an era in which Confucianism was very active. The rulers and the elite not only explained Confucianism from various aspects of political and social life Ethics, but also strongly advocated the Confucian cultural aesthetics, so that the calligraphy of the Tang Dynasty has obvious imprint of Confucianism. From this point of view, we believe that the emotional expression in Chinese calligraphy is deeply influenced by Confucianism and is regarded as orthodox.
