Step 1 Free talk
1. Signs in English books
T:(课件里书上的标志)The signs are in your English books. What does it mean?
S: It means‘Listen carefully/...’ (引、教signs)
2. Signs in the public
T:(课件里8个公共标志)Where can we see the signs? S: We can see the signs in the library...
T:We can see the signs in the public. (教public,揭题)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. Pre-reading
a. T: (Jack and Ben图)I want to ask some questions about them.(教ask some questions)
T: Who? / Where? / What can they see? / What are they doing? (听旁白,答题,教cousin, always)
b. T: What public signs can they see in the park? Guess! S:(看,猜标志)
c. T: Watch the cartoon and circle out what pub-lic signs they can see. (看动画,圈标志)
2. While-reading
a. Skimming(跳读,课件学习方法1:Skim the text and circle out all the question marks “?” and com-pare them.)
T: What question does Jack often ask Ben? (教读What does... mean? / It means...)
b. Scanning (略读,课件学习方法2:Scan the text and circle out all the single quotation marks “‘’”.)
用三个连线题,教词组:指Be quiet图,提问What does it mean? 回答:It means‘Be quiet’.
(同理教Danger和Keep off the grass。)
c. Reading (详读,课件学习方法3:Read the text carefully, and then underline “must” and “shouldn’t”. Try to guess the new words’ meanings from the text. 教must和shouldn’t)
Ss: It means ‘Danger’. We must stay away from the building. (同理教walk on the grass, make noise)
T: Where can they see‘Be quiet’? S: On the birds’ cage. T: What else cages do you know?(操练cage)

任务1. 判断题:
