今年是我国著名兽医微生物学家方定一先生诞辰100周年。方定一先生一生致力于兽医事业发展,在世界上第一个发现、分离并鉴定小鹅瘟病毒,成功研制出有效防控方法,在国内外兽医学界享有盛誉。为缅怀方定一先生的卓越贡献,弘扬他的高尚品格,研究他的学术思想,进一步推动我国兽医事业蓬勃发展,扬州大学兽医学院将于2012年10月21日举行方定一先生诞辰100周年纪念活动,活动内容包括方定一
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Mr. Fang Dingyi, a famous veterinary microbiologist in China. Mr. Fang Dingyi devoted his life to the development of veterinary medicine. He first discovered, isolated and identified gosling plague virus in the world and successfully developed effective prevention and control methods, which enjoys a good reputation both in domestic and overseas veterinary fields.
