Maurice Harmon is a professor of Irish literature and drama at Dublin University College. He has long been engaged in the study of poetics and has authored various works such as “Irish Poetry After Yeats” and serves as the editor of the quarterly literary review “Irish University Review” year. On November 28 last year, Professor Harmon held a lecture entitled “Poems of Simeon Sinny” at Beijing Foreign Studies University, giving a comprehensive introduction to Sinny’s creative path, artistic features and unique style. Professor Harmon regarded Sinny as a talented poet. His early poems mainly chant his hometown, fathers and history, beautiful and moving, rich in artistic imagination, and bring the reader into a happy environment
