北京是个有着1200万人口的特大型城市。除了工作,人们大部分时间都在家里度过。治安、卫生、优抚、邻里纠纷、计划生育……在居民区,在家门口,这些关乎社会稳定的大事,是谁在管理呢?“秤砣虽小压千斤”,就是“强人看不上,弱者干不了”的居委会。居委会上通政府,下联群众,是政府与基层百姓之间的穿针引线人。在北京前门街道长一居委会(长巷第一居委会的简称)的一间10平方米的小屋里,笔者听到、见到了一个个感人的故事。 胡同里最忙的“公家人” 长一居委会位于北京前门外古老的鲜鱼口街,下辖头条、二条两个胡同1200户、2800多居民。这个居委会7个人,是清一色的“娘子军”,张永琴最大,今年54岁,刘今最小,只有28岁。其余尹燕霞、李文娟、张晓晖、孙晓宁、刘志萍都是四十五六岁的中年妇女,吃苦耐劳,生活
