From November 30, 1989 to December 1, 1989, sponsored by the Chinese Medicine Administration of PLA General Hospital and the General Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Ministry of Health, People’s Liberation Army General Hospital held the First Annual Meeting of Chinese Medicine Forces in Beijing. More than 200 Chinese medicine practitioners from military units in Beijing attended the meeting. At the meeting, Vice Minister Lin Fengchun of the General Health Ministry made a speech. The meeting was presided over by Professor Zhao Guanying, chairman of the Chinese Medical Association of the PLA, and chief physician Gao Huiyuan, vice president of the PLA General Hospital.
