Since ancient times, Westerners have been keen to explore the basic characteristics of “ideal language ”, the Greek cultural traditions and Christian traditions no exception. At the beginning of the Western culture, where Chinese culture started, the West started to embrace the imagination of the ideal language around Chinese. By examining two writers who fell in love with Chinese - John Weber, who wrote the first Chinese studies in the West in 1669, and Ezra, who had an immeasurable influence on the English literary world through his thoughts on Chinese and the translation of English into Chinese, Ezine of the West imagines the ideal language around the Chinese language.
