文学是全人类的科学,文学依靠着其语言文字的独特魅力展现了客观现实,展现了作家内心的艺术世界,文学实质就是一种语言文字艺术。无论是哪种类型的文学,都或多或少展现出了其具有的一种独有的人文关怀。中国文学在漫长的历史长河中发展,人文特性或关注了对封建暴政的反抗、或展现思想枷锁、或展现人世间的真爱情愫、或展现自然和谐。同样,英国文学作为西方文学的代表,也有着其独特的人文特性。因此,探究人文特性在英国文学与中国文学中的关注差异能够为探寻挖掘中西方文化差异提供一些突破性进展。
Literature is a science of all mankind. Literature relies on the unique charm of its language and script to show the objective reality and show the writer’s inner world of art. Literary substance is a kind of language and writing art. No matter what type of literature, they both show a more or less unique humanistic concern. Chinese literature has developed over a long period of history. Humanistic features have focused on the resistance to feudal tyranny, the yoke of ideas, the true love of human beings, or the display of natural harmony. Similarly, as a representative of Western literature, British literature also has its own unique cultural characteristics. Therefore, the differences in the concerns of humanities between English literature and Chinese literature can provide some breakthroughs in exploring the differences between Chinese and Western cultures.
