“文化建园”是新世纪园林发展的必然要求,城市园林应进一步提升文化品味,赋予园林更深厚的文化内涵,加强园林建设和管理,改善安全服务和提高园林艺术水平。基于此,根据重庆市万州西山公园的现状和历史沿革,以万州西山公园近几年的改建为例,探讨和寻求如何将文化建园的思想融入到公园建设的实践中,为公园的发展和更新找寻新的方向,打造一个具有地方特色和文化内涵的精品名园。
