“改革从来未易谈,光明犹未到江南,闻鸡起舞随诸子,无限艰难待负担。”这是田汉同志一九四六年十月题赠著名戏曲导演吕君樵的一首诗。现在吕君樵同志已六十七岁了,虽然白发斑斑,然而精神矍铄。他现任剧协上海分会副秘书长,不仅分管剧协艺委会的工作,担任麒派艺术研究小组的负责人,而且还经常活跃在排练场上和课堂里。如果用“闻鸡起舞,老当益壮”八个字来形容他,确是十分恰当的。吕君樵出身于四代梨园世家,六岁开始练功学戏,十二岁正式搭班,随“关外”(常州一带)“老大金秀”乡班演出,十八岁进入上海。抗战前夕,他曾参加青年读书会(后改名为“大众救亡团”)。抗战后,他又积极参加田汉、欧阳予倩、周信芳等发起成立的
“The reform has never been easy to talk about, yet it has not yet reached the south of the Yangtze River and it can only be easily borne by the dancing chicken.” This is a poem written by Comrade Tian Han in October 1946 to Lvjun Qiao, a famous opera director. Now, Comrade Lv Jun-Qiao has reached the age of sixty-seven, although his hair is white-haired and spirited. He is currently the Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Branch of the Drama Association. He is not only in charge of the Arts Association, but also the head of Yee Art Research Group. He is also often active in rehearsals and classrooms. It is indeed quite appropriate to describe him in the words “dance with chicken, grow old and grow strong”. Lv Junqiao was born in the fourth generation of Liyuan family and began practicing at school at the age of six. At the age of twelve, he started to take classes and went to Shanghai with “Gaiwai” (Changzhou) On the eve of the war, he participated in the youth reading conference (later renamed the “Volunteer Group”). After the war of resistance against Japan, he also actively participated in the founding of Tian Han, Ouyang Yuqian and Zhou Xinfang
