Transferrin TRF or transferrin is a glycoprotein in beta-globulin that binds to iron and has a polypeptide chain with a three-dimensional globular leaf structure. It is responsible for the body’s iron transport, storage and utilization of parts of the transport, and can compete with bacteria by iron and anti-infection, play an important immunophysiological function.
