李常水从湖南农学院毕业后,毅然辞去公职,回到贫困的家乡当农民。他传播科学技术,使百里山乡依靠科技致富,被誉为传播科技的带头人。李常水因此被评为全国劳模,成为全国的典型。
After graduating from Hunan Agricultural College, Li Changshui decided to resign from public office and return to the poor hometown as a farmer. He disseminated science and technology so that Bailishan Township relies on science and technology to become rich and is known as the leader in the dissemination of science and technology. Li Changshui was therefore named the national model worker, becoming a national model.
