我们身处一个信息爆炸的时代,世界每天都以光怪陆离的崭新面目出现在我们面前,永远有新的影像、新的声音、新的文字。人口膨胀、气候变化、恐怖主义、金融危机……我们不知道这个世界到底怎么了。于是越来越多的人开始变得小心翼翼,变得无所适从。除却爱、理想和信仰,我们还能相信什么?总有一些东西,是我们爱之如生命的吧?20世纪60年代,有这样一群海盗,他们没有刀戟,没有枪炮,只是凭借一种被叫做“摇滚”的音乐,“挟持”了无数人的耳朵和心灵。这是一艘自由之船,一个乌托邦的世界。当影片中船体进水的那一刻,所有人都表现得非常平静。他们的平静并不是因为预知到会有人来营救,也不是因为面对死亡却无所畏惧。但是,对摇滚的热爱和对自由的信仰,让他们能够安然地面对即将到来的命运……
