每次参加闽南语歌曲歌手赛之后,常听到音乐圈子外的人士对闽南语歌曲新作歌曲内容和歌词的批评,尤其是对歌词语言的意见最多,主要的意见集中于一点是歌词不像闽南语、不是闽南语。“不像”和“不是”是两个概念,前者是指其歌词的闽南方言还不地道,后者则应是指其歌词根本不是闽南方言。闽南语歌曲是由闽南方言歌词与具有闽南本土音乐特色的曲调组成的一个歌种,如果作为歌曲基础的歌词非闽南方言化,那么曲调的翅膀一插上
