SCI(scalablecoherentinterface)是IEEE于1992年通过的高速互联标准,它为机群系统的互联提供了一个高效、经济、可扩展的解决方案.为了更有效地利用SCI标准提供的高带宽,文中对标准中的输入队列分配协议——A/B年龄协议(A/Bagingprotocol)进行了深入分析,并提出了一种改进方案:智能A/B年龄协议.文中还讨论了改进方案的实现及性能.智能A/B年龄协议的3个主要优点是:有效地提高了带宽利用率;发送包的平均服务延迟明显降低;引入非常少的硬件开销.分析结果表明,系统阻塞越严重,智能A/B年龄协议所获得的改进效果越显著.
SCI (scalablecoherentinterface) is a high-speed interconnection standard adopted by the IEEE in 1992. It provides an efficient, economical and scalable solution for the interconnection of cluster systems. In order to make full use of the high bandwidth provided by SCI standard, the paper deeply analyzes the A / B age agreement (A / Baging protocol) in the standard and proposes an improved scheme: Intelligent A / B Age agreement. The article also discusses the realization of improved programs and performance. The three main benefits of the smart A / B age agreement are: Effectively increasing bandwidth utilization; Significantly lower average service latency for sending packets; Introducing very little hardware overhead. The analysis results show that the more severe the system congestion, the more significant the improvement achieved by the smart A / B age protocol.
